Ludovico Fulci wurde 1959 in Messina (Italien) geboren. 1986 schloss er sein Klavier-Studium am Konservatorium von Rom (Conservatorio Santa Cecilia) mit Höchstnote ab (10/10). Danach studierte er Komposition in L’Aquila (Conservatorio A. Casella). L. Fulci ist sowohl klassisch ausgebildeter Pianist als auch Jazzpianist. Er hat mit vielen international bekannten Musikern zusammengearbeitet, wie z.B. Massimo Urbani, Bruno Biriaco, Edy Palermo, Steve Grossman und George Garzone. Mehrfach trat er beim Fesival Umbria Jazz auf: 1988 mit dem Edy Palermo Quartet, 1989 mit dem Gianni Oddi Quartet und 1990 mit dem Quartetto Diamodea. Seit 1989 leitete L. Fulci verschiedene Big Bands, darunter die „Super Star Big Band“ mit der er zwei CDs einspielte Sound-Track-Music“; B.M.G. Ariola (ehemals RCA). Die erste CD - The 50’s Jazz Music- erinnert an die Zeit des Swing (von Woody Hermann bis Duke Ellington, von Count Basie bis zum frühen Quincy Jones. Die zweite Einspielung - Contemporary Big Band -mixt Jazz mit Rock-Elementen, Rhythem&Blues und Fusion.

Ludovico Fulci was born in Messina (Italy) in 1959. In 1986 he completed his piano studies at the Rome Conservatory (Conservatorio Santa Cecilia) with the highest grade (10/10). He then studied composition in L'Aquila (Conservatorio A. Casella).  L. Fulci is both a classically trained pianist and a jazz pianist. He has worked with many internationally renowned musicians, such as Massimo Urbani, Bruno Biriaco, Edy Palermo, Steve Grossman and George Garzone. He performed several times at the Fesival Umbria Jazz: in 1988 with the Edy Palermo Quartet, in 1989 with the Gianni Oddi Quartet and in 1990 with the Quartetto Diamodea. Since 1989, L. Fulci has led various big bands, including the ‘Super Star Big Band’ with whom he recorded two CDs ‘Sound-Track-Music’; B.M.G. Ariola (formerly RCA). The first CD - The 50's Jazz Music - is reminiscent of the swing era (from Woody Hermann to Duke Ellington, from Count Basie to early Quincy Jones. The second recording - Contemporary Big Band - mixes jazz with rock elements, rhythm & blues and fusion.
